About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Program Director to lead our Summer Camp and Childcare Program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, strong leadership skills, and experience in program development and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement engaging educational and recreational programs for children aged 5-12.
Supervise and train camp staff, ensuring a safe and positive environment for all participants.
Manage daily operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and community stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and camp policies.
Evaluate program effectiveness and make improvements as needed.
Organize special events and field trips to enhance the camp experience.
Requirements
Program Director
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Recreation, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, preferably in a childcare or camp setting.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and children.
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Background check clearance required.
